"Theodor Pixis, Parcival Shows the Holy Grail (c. 1892—1894) (Wikipedia, Holy Grail)
The first mentions of the Holy Grail are from the year 1190. So, maybe the Holy Grail was some kind of compass. The compass stylus floats on the cork. And that thing shows the place where some treasures were.
In that case, that thing was made by some Crusaders and maybe those Crusaders were Templars.
The thing that used to show the place where some treasure was buried. The compass needle along with the map and some lines tells the place where the treasure is. Like the archives from the Jerusalem temple were buried. The idea is that the jewelry around that dish shows the place where those knights should sit. And then the sword will be put across that map.
Then the compass stylus shows the crossing point of the line and the line, that goes from the compass needle. The other version is that the 12 pieces of jewelry or stones around that compass were the mark of the city. People were told that the 12 stones symbolized the apostles. The place of Judas was empty. The certain stone must turn into the north. And then that thing positioned in the right position using those stones. The problem is that those cities were important for the Crusaders. They might be around the Mediterranean.
When we think about religious artifacts like the Holy Grail, we must remember that this thing can be far different than we might want to think. There is always the possibility that the religious artifact is a symbol, which means it's not physical merchandise. It might be a way of thinking or something else. Things like holy nets might mean the network. The ruler is used to get the information that they need. So, we might say that Rán net is the network of cooperatives of the ruler. There are many tales about mythic cups and other things and one of them is the Holy Grail.
There is part of this story, that might have been written a long time after the Holy Bible that Joseph the Arimathian invented the first Christian Church in Glastonbury and then took the Holy Grail into it. If that is true, there is the possibility that Joseph the Arimathean in the Holy Bible was not the same Joseph the Arimathean who established that church in Glastonbury. There is also the possibility that the persons who established that church were not in Glastonbury when they made that decision. It's possible that they were foreigners who lived maybe in France. But then we can think about the shape of the Holy Grail.
Sometimes researchers think that the Holy Grail could be a large dish. So, it might be some kind of punch bowl. Those things could be the size of the table. That means it could be the dish where people fill their glasses or mugs. There is one idea about the shape of that item if it exists. Maybe it was a table there was a wine tank where people could fill their mugs. In one very rare theory, there were many Holy Grails. In that model, the Holy Grail was a compass. The compass needle floats in that cup.
The jewelry shows the place of the Knights. Then there was a map there was a line. When the compass was at the right point the cross of the compass needle and the line marked the point, where those people could find their treasure. That means the Holy Grail shows the place where Jesus Christ was buried. And maybe there can be the lost books of the Holy Bible. So if that is true, it's possible that the Holy Grail was made during the Crusades. If that compass theory is true that means the table and the map must be in the right position. And finally, we can ask what is Alexandretta?
Alexandretta was the place, where Templars kept the Holy Grail. Or that is the thing, how the legend describes that mythic place. Alexandretta was city. It also can be someplace in the city. If the Holy Grail exists the exact place where it was might be in some Teplar's notebook. They might know that the city where the Holy Grail was was Alexandretta. But they didn't know who kept that thing. And maybe the "Alexandretta" was some other city. But it also could be some person.
That person could be a woman who carried The Holy Grail. Maybe that woman traveled with the Crusaders. Or, maybe Templars who might want to hide that merchandise from unauthorized persons, hide it far from them. The Holy Grail might be stored in some Muslim's (or Jew's) home. Or maybe that woman took it to Britain. There is the possibility that the King of Danmark Knut II Hardeknut took it to Danmark. And there that mysterious thing is lost. Did that king know what he had? The fact is that this is only guessing. But the Holy Grail is an interesting tale.
There are so many conspiracy theories about that thing. The Holy Grail tale got mixtures from ancient mythologies and Teplar's story. We must realize that history is full of real conspiracies and secret societies. Templars were one of them. Maybe the Holy Grail existed but then it was forgotten. Or maybe it was an abstraction. The way to think. Who knows the truth? Maybe the truth is buried in the sand or below the streets of Paris.
